Tierra Caribe is an amusement/recreation complex that reflects the rich history and culture of Colombia and the Caribbean area as is thematic design. This theme park will reflect the early Caribbean and Colombian life, culture, and history; from the villages of the original people to the impact of the Spanish settlers; from the pirates who besieged Cartagena, and the early attempts at agriculture, to the thriving nations of the Caribbean today. Throughout, bestrewn with galaxies of floral color, the music of the Caribbean will fill the air. Rides themed to the area’s multinational populace, and live shows depicting significant events, and the music and dance of the area, will be designed to stir the imagination, turning fun rides into adventures, and hours spent at Tierra Caribe into a dream world to which visitors of all ages will want to return.
The market for this development is expected to be composed of Colombians and foreign tourists alike. The site is 64.39 acres located on the main highway between Cartagena and Barranquilla, a 25-minute drive from Cartagena’s main population center and 55 minutes driving time from Barranquilla.
